Screening Questions

Please answer in your own words. I do not need a list of popular technologies or leadership buzzwords. I want evidence of how you think, what you have delivered, how you lead, and whether you take responsibility when something is difficult.

1.You receive our requirements and Figma designs. What are the first five things you do before coding, and what would you deliver by the end of your first week?2.A disabled user needs to upload sensitive evidence, organize it by event, save and return later, and share selected items with an advocate, attorney, investigator, or journalist. Explain how you would build this across the UX, frontend, backend, database, file storage, permissions, and security. What could go wrong, and how would you protect the user?3.Show me one working product you personally helped build from beginning to end. What did you design and code? What did others handle? What became difficult or broke, and what did you personally do to finish it? Include a link if available.4.You are leading a small team building this platform. The requirements contain gaps, two developers disagree about the approach, a milestone is slipping, and one person is not delivering. What do you do within the next 48 hours? Explain how you would make decisions, assign ownership, address poor performance, verify the work, and keep the product moving.
